The Canaries Museum (Museo Canario) is the largest museum to focus on the Canary Islands arts and culture.
The museum contains archaeological and ethnographic items and a collection of some 2,000 prehistoric sculls.
The Canaries Museum was founded in 1879. It is home to a collection of some 60,000 books, many of which pertain to the Canary Islands.
