The Las Palmas Airport (Aeropuerto de
Gran Canaria) is the largest airport in the Canary Islands and one of the
busiest in Spain. It is situated about 18 kilometers south of the city
of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and 25 kilometers north of the popular beach
resorts that are located at the south end of Gran Canaria Island.
