Canteras Beach

Canteras Beach (Playa las Canteras) is one of three city beaches in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.  It runs from the Alfred Kraus Auditorium up the west side of the Las Palmas isthmus.

Canteras Beach is sheltered from the rough ocean by a natural barrier of coral. Consequently, it is a great place to swim or snorkel.

Many hotels, restaurants and other attractions are situated along the Las Canteras Beach Promenade.

Due to its proximity to the city centre and its gorgeous sand, this popular three kilometer long beach attracts large numbers or tourists and residents.
